JHRides STP/Century clinics are designed to give riders of all abilities the tools to successfully complete one of the most fulfilling rides of your life. Seattle to Portland is either a 1 or 2 day ride spanning almost 335km. John Henry RIDES clinics will get you prepared for riding in large groups by teaching you techniques and etiquette as well as nutrition/hydration and bike maintenance. All members will receive personal fitness benchmarks to attain along the 8 weeks leading up to the event - up for the Challenge?
ESC Adventures
A partnership with Huckwagon Adventure Shuttle a few years ago has brought the addition of the highly recognizable 'flaming vans', which can always be spotted traveling in and around Vancouver. A favorite part of the camps, the riders always love traveling to their riding destinations in comfort while watching DVDs from the overhead screens.ESC Adventures has been the pinnacle of mountain bike camps for years, and they continue to grow as they enter their 9th year in operation. They've already hit the pre-season hard with a fantastic Spring Break camp successfully completed last week, and after school camps starting this week.
The hugely popular Freeride Team starts riding next weekend, and will continue well into the fall. Freeride Team is where ESC's most advanced riders go to explore what insane riding the Lower Mainland can show them. With trips to places such as Whistler, the Shore, Vedder, Woodlot, and more, the Freeride Team is one of the most adventurous and exciting groups ESC offers.
This year also sees the addition of an incredible Freeride Tour which will take riders into the BC Interior to explore riding spots seen in all the newest bike flicks. Take a week and travel with friends in the Huckwagon to BC's best riding spots. This will be an unbelievable trip.
ESC Adventures is also still doing their Tofino surf camps which are an awesome getaway that mixes riding with surfing. A must for any thrill seekers out there.
Whether you have a 5 year old ripper, or a 14 year old beginner, ESC Adventures has a group they will be comfortable with and learn from at a comfortable pace.
