Warranty Situation?

You Were Just Riding Along When...

Everybody thinks that they have been mistreated when a problem rears its ugly head.

The staff at John Henry Bikes would like to help you deal with this as quickly as possible. You will be taken care of because all we want you to do is enjoy riding your bike.

How do I determine if my product is defective or covered under warranty?

With each purchase you will receive a receipt of the products you've purchased and the date of the transaction. You can have each purchase registered under your name to allow us to help you keep track of your transactions. This also makes it very easy for us to verify a purchase and/or print out a copy of your receipt. All warranties require a receipt with the date of the original purchase.

Each of the manufacturers have their own policies and it is our guarantee that we will at least meet their level of warranty or exceed it if we feel that you should indeed be helped over and above what is necessary. Simply look at your product and owners manual (if applicable) and based on the manufacturers warranty guidelines determine whether or not you have a legitimate concern. If you are unsure please ask for help.

Most companies make their owner's manuals available online and certainly you can contact us at any time to clarify the procedures or if you might have the need of the warranty department. If you think you have a warranty issue, contact our warranty department to get an RA # (return authorization number).

The Procedure to Follow When You Have a Warranty

Here is the required information regarding your warranty claim.
1. Make sure you have your receipt; no exceptions
2. Contact the warranty department at John Henrys to report and inquire about the issue. Telephone 604-986-5534 or e-mail
3. Return product in exchange for a RA # and information regarding the replacement/repair of your product.

Bottom Line, If You Aren't Riding As Much As Possible We Don't Believe We Have Done Our Job Well

If you can't make it to the weekly John Henry Club Rides because our Technicians haven't fixed your bike properly or the product you have was mis-manufactured we want to know. Sound off!

Tell us what you think and why, and you can rest assured that the matter will be brought up with the people responsible for keeping you from a glorious ride.
