Fast climbs and fast descents, from sun up until sundown, are the norm on SRAM's Roam 50 Wheels. They boast a dedicated balance of low-weight, strength, and width to excel on a wide variety of XC and trail-bike terrain. The 25mm wide rims give big tires the support they deserve for outstanding cornering control, and the rims are durable enough for day-after-day sessions, yet light enough for race day. Stomp on the pedals and feel the rapid engagement of the excellent star ratchet engagement freewheel system. Ditch the tubes with full UST compatibility and reap the rewards of excellent traction, control, and fewer flats. And, the Roams' great features continue, like the Solo Spoke design that uses one spoke length to fit the entire wheel and quick release/12mm through axle end caps that can be interchanged without tools.
The weight, stiffness, and speed of carbon rims improve every ride. From fast climbs to nasty descents, SRAM's Roam 60 wheels crush trails with an incredible balance of low weight and high strength to excel on a wide variety of terrain. The 28mm wide carbon rims give big tires the support they deserve for improved cornering, yet are light enough for race day. Stomp on the pedals and feel the rapid engagement of the excellent star ratchet rear hub. Ditch the tubes with full UST tubeless compatibility, and reap the rewards of excellent traction, control, and fewer flats. And, the Roams are loaded with great features, like the Solo Spoke design that uses one spoke length for the entire wheel and quick release and 12mm through axle end caps that can be swapped without tools.
The Discus Plus is the world’s first wheel range specifically designed for wider tires on all-road/gravel bikes. The advantages are obvious: more grip, more comfort, almost unflattable (is that a word?) so you are practically unstoppable. Wide tires need a wide rim to prevent excessive lateral tire roll and improve cornering, so the Discus Plus Pro has a 24mm inner width (with full hooks), perfectly supporting both MTB and 650B tires. The Discus Plus build is similar to Discus, utilizing the 3T linear+ system. Asymmetric rim drilling reduces the difference in spoke tension between the drive side and non-drive side. And the hubs have light alloy oversize spindles with modular end-caps that can be easily swapped from quick-release to thru-axle as needed; rear width can run 135 mm or 142 mm.
